Many of our group volunteering and event sponsorship activities are wonderful opportunities for youth. We strive to include as much intergenerational programming as possible, not only because our elders enjoy it, but also to help instill an appreciation of the elderly to youth.
Ames Lake Neighborhood hosts quarterly intergenerational events through an afterschool program of neighborhood youth.
Blake School hosts an annual birthday lunch at their school.
Dowling School made loaves of bread for our elders.
Genesys Works, who connects underprivileged high school students with valuable internships, created beautiful handmade cards for our elders.
Various schools' students decorate bags for Friendship and Flowers deliveries.
MOMS Club of Richfield/Southeast Minneapolis hosted a Halloween costume party - and the kids weren't the only ones dressed up!
