Holiday dinner volunteering
THE TRADITION CONTINUES!
Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly will once again serve up Thanksgiving and Christmas (this year on Christmas Eve Day) dinners with plenty of laughter and cheer for our elder friends. The spirited celebrations bring comfort and companionship to isolated elders during a season when loneliness is most deeply felt. This is made possible through the generosity of individuals, families and community groups who donate their time, talent and treasure. In fact, many volunteers make this a part of their own holiday tradition year after year!
Please consider volunteering with us this year! Opportunities include meal preparation, serving, clean-up, entertainment, meal delivery and more. Our greatest need is for drivers/meal companions to provide a truly warm, connected experience for our elders. Note that many positions fill up quickly!
*Note: Christmas Dinner will be held on Christmas Eve Day (December 24) rather than Christmas Day this year due to availability of venue and its staff.
