Armand Marquiset Society

Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly established the Armand Marquiset Society in memory of our visionary founder. The Society recognizes donors who have included LBFE in their estate plans. As we strive to serve more and more older adults in the Twin Cities area who are struggling with isolation and loneliness, we appreciate investors who look beyond the here and now and understand that the ability to advance our mission depends on safeguarding our financial future. Since LBFE’s only source of income is donations from our supporters, planned gifts are essential to our current and future success.

“It is imperative that we appropriately recognize and thank our donors who have the foresight to make a gift of future support to LBFE,” said Therese Cain, Executive Director. “No one better exemplifies our commitment to personal dignity, social passion, and community engagement than our founder, Armand Marquiset. He understood the importance of keeping older adults connected to their communities. And his vision is becoming even more critical today given that older adults are the fastest-growing segment of our population. He was a strong believer that all people, regardless of age or social position, deserve to be valued and treated with respect and dignity. Naming our planned giving society in honor of Armand provides us with a onderful opportunity to reflect upon the nature of LBFE’s foundation – our roots – and to re-affirm that his ideals continue to be the core of our mission.”

Joining the Armand Marquiset Society is simple. If you have included LBFE in your will or estate plans – bequest, charitable trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan – you automatically become a member. If you have not done so already, please let us know about your planned gift so that we can document and thank you for your intent. Click here to download the Letter of Intent (PDF format).
