Friendship and Flowers is a program that promotes friendship and wellness by making a once-a-month social visit to an elder who is homebound or in a nursing home. You bring flowers, treats a friendly smile and conversation.

Did you know that Minnesota law allows you to inform others of your health care wishes? You have the right to state your wishes in writing so that others will know what you want even if you can’t tell them.

Both elders and volunteers will find this presentation very helpful and informative. Gordon Solo, Supervising Attorney at the Senior Law Project, will share information and answer your questions during this causal time together. Attend with your Elder Friend or come on your own. Be sure and stay for lunch after the presentation!
