Join us for these popular Twin Cities “café,” where LGBTQ+ seniors, boomers, and allies come together in friendship on the fourth Friday of each month in an atmosphere that’s warm, accepting, and welcoming. Lunch is “on the house.” No RSVP needed!
Jill Moody, is the Program Lead for Aging in Place Services for people living and aging with HIV and individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ at Hope House of St. Croix Valley. Jill is a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota with a major in Justice Administration and minors in Psychology and Social Welfare. Jill comes to Hope House with extensive experience in the Mental Health and Disability Services Sector. Jill’s passion is to help others by supporting individuals in achieving their dreams, a perfect fit for her work at Hope House of St. Croix Valley.
Bill Tiedemann, has been serving Hope House as its Executive Director since November 2016. Bill ‘s professional experience in the HIV sector has spanned over 2 decades. Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, Bill’s career interests have focused on the impact of the ACA on AIDS Service Organizations and their ability to strengthen the health care system supporting people living with and at-risk for HIV. Bill lives in Mendota Heights with his partner Mike, his son Matt who attends the University of Iowa, Mike’s daughter Megan who is entering St. Olaf in Fall 2020 and Bella Grace a black lab border collie who never stops wagging her tail or chasing tennis balls.
